Pastor Tito Ortega

Titos testimony begins before he was born. Sally, Titos mother had experienced the loss of a child and cried out to the Lord, A prayer much like the prayer of Hannah. "Lord if you give me a son I'll give him back to you". So on September 24, 1965 God answered her prayer and Tito Ortega was born. Tito was raised in church and had a love for God it was evident even at an early age. God had given Tito the talent for music so Tito was very active in the church all of his young life. Tito tells the story of receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost at the age of 7 or 8 years old, in a bedroom of his house at a prayer meeting that he and his brothers and sisters and some of his cousin's were having while their parents were at a Revival Meeting. His time in Jr. High and part of his High School years he ran from God and the calling God had on his life. Finally in 1984 Tito surrendered his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. He was eighteen years old and a senior in high school. In that summer at an old fashion Holy Ghost Revival under a Gospel Tent, God restored and filled Tito with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. He dedicated his life to prayer and to the word from 1984-1988. During that time many Evangelist's and Prophets would call Tito out and prophesy over his life. Pastor Abel Ortega became his mentor and began to train and groom him for ministry. Tito was in training. Tito was faithful in the little things that were given him He would clean the church, mow the church lawn, and set up the platform for church services. He was given the responsibility to teach the children. From there he began to Pastor the youth. On January 2, 1988 he was Ordained into the ministry. He was made Associate Pastor. Tito has always been a part of the praise team of the church. God began to open doors Evangelistically in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, South Dakota, and Nevada. For 8 years he and Hope Center church were members of the Azusa Fellowship of Christian Churches and Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Carlton Pearson. 1994 Tito was voted President of Hope Center INC. June 2, 1997 Tito received the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Theological Studies from Vision International University. In the year 2001 Pastor Tito along with his brother Abel Ortega Jr. recorded their first CD "Dice La Biblia". Tito operates in the five-fold ministry gifts with a heavy anointing on his life. His unique way of ministry causes people everywhere to be edified encouraged restored and blessed.

Our Call is to be Spirit Filled church with Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers; a Church that moves in the Gifts of the Spirit, bearing the Fruit of the Spirit walking in by faith, working the ministry and edifying the body of Christ. We want to see the body of Christ come together.Our Passion is to have an interracial, multicultural church, as was the church in the book of Acts; a church without limits and barriers.Our Commission is to reach our Community, our City, Our Country and the World with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Radio, Television and Evangelistic Meetings. We want to bring to our church, men and women of God that will impart God's blessings to the body of Christ and to our city; men and women that operate in Five-Fold Ministry Gifts.Vision for our CommunityWe want to help our community by offering food to the hungry, clothes to the needy and other items needed for the children in less fortunate homes.We believe that education is important and that it determines the good or bad future of our community. We want to offer an after school tutoring program where Elementary, Jr. High and High School students can come and receive help at no cost to them. Eventually we want to have computers offer computer training to any body that wants to learn.Our vision is to have an activity center with full size basketball court with volleyball, ping-pong and all kinds of recreation activities for children and teens to go to after school and in the summer rather than being on the streets or an empty home. We will offer meals to those who come at no cost to them. We want to be a bridge for the community to the corporate world. We understand that many in our community lack the basic skills and training to obtain better jobs. We believe that by teaching them, they can achieve more and not be satisfied with minimum wage. The whole community will benefit. We want to offer English classes to those in our community who don't know how to speak English and Spanish classes to those who want to learn Spanish.WE NEED YOU!Vision for our CityWe are going into the hospitals and ministering to the sick and their families.We are going to the jails and prisons and ministering to the prisoners and their families. We are going into nursing homes and ministering to the elderly and shut-ins.We are going to the streets with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.WE NEED YOU!Vision for our Country and the WorldJesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. Our Vision has to include the world and not just our home. We have to extend ourselves to our nation and the nations of the world. It is our responsibility so I challenge you to stir yourself up to believe God to be able to give more to reach the world. Believe God for more money, for better jobs, for bonuses and raises so that together we can reach the world of Jesus.WE NEED YOU!
